PC Spirit: The Heart of FIP Silver Belgrade
When the FIP Silver Belgrade tournament begins on 20 August, the spotlight won’t rest solely on the court. Behind the scenes and in the stands, the vibrant spirit of Padel Centar Belgrade will be just as important as the matches themselves.
Padel fans from across Serbia and Europe are preparing to converge on the Belgrade Waterfront, not just to watch world‑class matches but to experience the unique atmosphere that the local community has cultivated. Volunteers from Padel Centar are already hard at work, ensuring every detail is perfect – from greeting teams and spectators to preparing courts and hospitality areas. Their energy and enthusiasm define what the club calls “PC Spirit”.
Throughout the week, the venue will offer more than padel. There will be live music to keep energy levels high, a beverage and refreshment stand to keep spectators hydrated, and interactive activations hosted by partners and sponsors to engage fans between matches. These elements, combined with the passion of the crowd, will create a festival atmosphere around the courts.
The qualifying rounds begin on 20 August, the main draw starts on 22 August, and the tournament culminates in the semi‑finals and final on 24 August. A €25,000 prize fund awaits the winners, but organisers emphasise that the community experience is just as central to the event.
Tournament director Ivan Zlatović says the community ethos is central to the event’s appeal. “We want everyone to feel welcome,” he explains. “It’s not just about the competition; it’s about celebrating padel together. Volunteers, fans, families – they bring the PC Spirit to life.”
If you’re planning to attend, the organisers encourage you to arrive early, explore the Belgrade Waterfront and enjoy the music and activations on offer. Whether you’re a die‑hard padel supporter or new to the sport, the PC Spirit promises an unforgettable experience at this year’s FIP Silver Belgrade.
