Registrations Close for FIP Silver Belgrade: Record Interest with 59 Men’s and 47 Women’s Teams
Registrations for the FIP Silver Belgrade tournament have officially closed, and organisers report a remarkable turnout: 59 men’s teams and 47 women’s teams have signed up for the event. Such numbers reflect the tournament’s growing popularity across Europe and beyond, with pairs set to arrive from a broad range of countries.
This year’s FIP Silver Belgrade will take place at the Padel Center Belgrade Waterfront from 18 to 24 August 2025. The competition opens with qualifying rounds on 20 August, where 32 pairs will battle for places in the main draw. The main draw, also comprising 32 pairs, starts on 22 August and culminates with the semi‑finals and final on 24 August.
A €25,000 prize fund is on offer, with prize money distributed all the way from the round of 32 to the champions. Matches will be played outdoors on three match courts and one practice court, with Padel Center Belgrade Košutnjak providing organisational support.
Tournament director Ivan Zlatović says the high number of entries is a testament to the sport’s rapid growth: “We’re thrilled to welcome players from so many countries. The level of interest shows that Belgrade is becoming a key destination on the international padel circuit.” With the draw prepared by the FIP office in Madrid and a tightly packed schedule, fans can expect five days of intense competition.
For competitors and visitors, Crowne Plaza Belgrade has been designated as the official hotel, offering special rates for players. The organisers have also reminded participants that the qualifying draw will be announced on 17 August and the main draw on 18 August.
